An invitation to all primary school-aged children in Gloucester!
I’m delighted to launch my 2025 Christmas Card Competition, a chance for young people across Gloucester to get creative and help spread some festive cheer!
Every year, I send a Christmas card to community leaders, local organisations, public servants, and even the Prime Minister! This year, I want the front of that card to feature artwork designed by someone in Gloucester!
🎨 Theme: What Christmas Means to You
This year’s theme is “What Christmas means to you.”
Christmas means different things to different people. For some, it’s a time to be with family and friends, to rest and reflect, or to give and share with others. It might involve traditions like decorating a tree, enjoying winter scenes, or simply taking a moment of peace and kindness during the season.
However you experience this time of year, whether you celebrate Christmas or simply enjoy the winter weather, I’d love to see what this season means to you through your artwork.
🎁 Bonus points if your design includes something Gloucester-themed! Maybe the Cathedral in the snow, festive lights along the Gate Streets, or a cosy winter scene in your local neighbourhood.
🏆 Prizes
The winning design will feature on the front of my official Christmas card.
All participants will receive a certificate for entering.
This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the creativity of our city’s young people and celebrate the festive season through their eyes.
