Free breakfast clubs

Last week, I was pleased to announce some great news for children and families in Gloucester.

Half a million more children will get access to free breakfast clubs next year- boosting children's life chances and ensuring fewer children start the school day hungry.

I've written to several schools in Gloucester who are eligible for the next stage of the rollout to join the scheme.

I promised when I was elected to work hard to ensure every child in Gloucester has the best start in life. Free breakfast clubs are a direct way of making this happen, and I'm proud to see the Labour government taking this action
