£4.5 million for Gloucestershire College

Great news from the government - Gloucestershire College has been awarded £4.5 million to develop a new vocational training centre in Gloucester.

This is part of the government’s £625m Construction Skills package. This investment aims to expand construction training across college estates and deliver an additional 60,000 construction workers by 2029. It’s a really positive step for Gloucester - especially in tackling the number of young people who are NEET, something I’m deeply committed to addressing.
