Civil Service Pensions debate at Westminster Hall

Last week I raised Gloucester residents’ concerns in a Westminster Hall debate on Civil Service pensions.

Civil Service pensions used to be managed internally, but since the move to Capita, there have been major delays across the system - especially in actually paying people. Some constituents have faced months or even years of waiting, and a few have even had to delay their retirement because their pension wasn’t processed in time.

Because so many MPs attended the debate, I was only given 60 seconds to speak so I had to cut my question down. But I made sure Gloucester’s experiences were heard - this just isn't good enough.
